Afternoon in Serenity finds the day to be clear with only a few slivers of clouds. It’s one of those winter days that’s warmer than it should be, or would be if the coastal winds sweeping over the city weren’t still so cold. Ileemi sits at a table with a small stack of books in front of him. The books are closed and Ileemi stares out the large open window at the blue of the sky. He sits in a small classroom in the top of a tower that is part of the Stormshadow mages guild complex. Ileemi sits alone next to the window.
The room is small with only six tables for students to sit at. Each table has enough room for two students. Ileemi sits at the middle table on the right side of the room, or his right anyway from where he sits facing the front of the room. No one sits directly in front of him, but there are three students already on the front row. The person sitting at an angle from Ilemi is a full elf, Rin. Across the aisle from the elf is a half elf girl, Mari, sitting next to a man in the riding gear of a Winged Sentinel, Kione Armorson. The two elfin girls at the front of the room keep making eyes at Kione and trying to get his attention. Across the aisle from Ilemmi on the far left side of the other middle table sits a young rich looking human boy, Tristam Tykeer. The only one at a back table is a centaur, Siwel. The centaur does not sit, as a chair is rather useless to him. This also means he towers over everyone else in the room. He’s taller than them when they stand, so he’s a lot taller while they sit. He stands at the left table near the aisle.
There are six chairs yet to be claimed in the room. There is one against the window in front of Ileemi. There is one near the aisle next to Ileemi. And there is one next to the aisle across from Illemi. There are the two behind Ileemi and one against the wall on the back left table. The instructor has yet to enter the room.
The door to enter the room is in the middle of the back wall so that the first thing anyone sees is the instructor’s desk directly across from them as they enter. There are book shelves and maps and such on the wall behind this desk. There is only one window in the room. It is large and takes up most the right wall. The floor, walls, and ceiling are all made of stone, but the desks and chairs are all made of wood and very finally crafted with nice little designs carved in them.
